Pop & Peek — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Zaz Studios ("we," "us") built Pop & Peek as a game for young children. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with information — written to reflect exactly how the app actually works, not generic boilerplate.
The short version
Pop & Peek does not collect any personal information from your child. There are no accounts, no logins, no ads, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. The only outside service the app talks to is RevenueCat, and only to process a purchase an adult has explicitly authorized — never to identify or track your child.
What the app stores, and where
On your device only, never transmitted anywhere:
- Which worlds are unlocked
- Which animal stickers your child has collected
- Which Pop Party levels have been completed
- Which animal "buddy" your child picked, and which area of the home screen they were last in
- Whether the app is in test or production mode (a developer setting)
This information is stored using standard on-device app storage (PlayerPrefs). It never leaves the device, is never linked to any person's identity, and is deleted automatically if the app is uninstalled.
Sent to a third-party service (RevenueCat), only when an adult makes a purchase: Pop & Peek offers one optional one-time purchase ("Unlock Everything") to unlock all content beyond the free Farm world and its free Pop Party levels. To process this purchase, the app uses RevenueCat, a payment-processing service used by many apps to work with Apple's and Google's app stores. When a purchase is made, RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous identifier automatically generated for the purchase (not your name, email, or any other personal detail)
- The store transaction/receipt data needed to verify the purchase
RevenueCat does not receive your child's name, birthdate, photos, location, contacts, or any other personal information, because the app never collects that information in the first place. RevenueCat's own privacy practices are described at RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
The purchase itself requires an adult
Before any purchase can be started, the app requires holding a button for several seconds — deliberately designed so a young child can't accidentally trigger a purchase by tapping around. This is often called a "parental gate."
What the app does not do
- No account creation, sign-in, or profile of any kind
- No advertising, and no ad networks of any kind
- No analytics, crash reporting, or behavioral tracking
- No access to camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location
- No sharing or selling of information to anyone, for any reason
- No social features, chat, or any way for your child to communicate with anyone
Children's privacy
Pop & Peek is designed for young children and built from the ground up to collect nothing from them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app's design makes that true by construction rather than by policy alone — there is simply no personal information the app ever asks for or stores.
